I am 47 years old today.

I went to work, even though I didn’t want to. I didn’t want anyone to wish me happy birthday from work. I’d rather hear that from my friends and family.

I don’t necessarily want any special treatment from anyone else, but if it happens to work out that way, I’ll take it.

I am about to open a birthday present from my wife. It’s the Super Powers Batmobile that I’ve always wanted. I’m a good guesser.

After that, I plan to get a free drink from Dutch Bros and enjoy it while driving to Cannon Beach and listening to the music I want to hear.

We’re going to eat at the Driftwood Restaurant. I’m going to have a steak. After that, we may walk around and enjoy the sunset at 8:00 pm.

My daughter and son texted me and wished me happy birthday, which meant the world to me. I’m waiting till later to open facebook.

The weather is nice. It will be nicer at the coast. All I want is Annie at my side, watching the waves.

It’s been a good day and it’s only going to get better.
